Eager Beavers

Today we had Pathfinders, Adventures, and Eager Beavers.  Jody and I did the little Beaver Chip 'Animal Homes' with our little kids.  It was fun, they have so much energy!  They learn quick though! :)  I only have pictures of our Eager Beavers, non of the rest.  Sorry :(

As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:  Psalm 127:5

Nice Weather

The Weather has been so nice again this week, the temp is 40-50 degrees every day.

Janae started working with her 2 year old colt Dixon today, but he's a little confused with having a bit in his mouth and the fact that someone is sitting on his back!

Numbers 22:28-31
Then the Lord opened the donkey's mouth, and she said to Balaam, "what have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?"  29 Balaam answered the donkey, "you have made a fool of me! If I had a sword in my hand, I would kill you right now."  30 the donkey said to Balaam,  "Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit doing this to you? " "no," he said.   31 Then the Lord opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn.  So he bowed down and fell facedown.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

New International Version (NIV)
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Today our family watched a movie called ' A Greater Year'.  It reminded us again how this world is not our home we are just passing through, and the reason we are here is to build a character for eternity.  This can be done by showing the people around us the love that Christ has to offer.  When we are called to go through a storm always remember that we never go alone.  That Christ is there always waiting to go with us.

If God wants to go with us. Why would we ever want to go on our own. ~ Uknown

"If you are called to go through a fiery furnace for His sake, Jesus will be by your side even as He was with the faithful three in Babylon. ~
