Rain

God is amazing!!!!  He answers every prayer!!!  Yesterday we were watching the radar all day for rain because that is when rain was in the forecast.  But it never came and we went to bed thinking we were not going to get any.  But at 3:00 when we got up to check cows we were so excited to find that it had rained about a 1/2 inch since we had gone to bed.  A perfect slow beautiful million dollar rain.  By morning now we have about 3/4 inch and it is still raining slowly.  Our God knows every one of our needs and is ready to answer our prays when we ask.

Ezekiel 34:26 

I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.

I'm reading the book Ministry of healing right now by E.G.W.  When I was reading the other day I ran across this quote and thought it was really a good thought provoking quote.  Here it is....

 

Let the youth be impressed with the thought that they are not their own.  They belong to Christ.  They are the purchase of His blood, the claim of His love.  They live because He keeps them by His power.  Their time, their strength, their capabilities are His, to be developed, to be trained, to be used for Him.~

  I just wanted to recommend this to any of you guys.  It's a great book !!!!

Today we worked on one of our windbreaks.  We put new rails on and then the boards again.  It's been awhile since we posted, we have about 120 calves on the ground.  We've been blessed with a great calving season so far.  Everything is healthy and all has gone great.  We have about 2 quarters of wheat in and now are praying for rain.  We're pretty dry but are suppose to get some rain tonight.  Hope all is going good for all of you.
