Yesterday was a very fun, but long day! The Mr. and Mrs. Haveman are faculty from DAA and when there are home leaves they have 4 extra kids stay at their house because it is too far for them to go home. So with 7 kids and 2 adults we had a blast doing all kinds of farm stuff. After church and dinner all 11 kids went over to the bunk house and we played and sang music for about and hour before heading out to the cows. It was something totally new for most all of them to be able to feed the cows corn cobs out of their hands. When we were done feeding cows we went out to the hay bales to play. Then about 6:30 people started showing up for our church pie and ice cream social in the shed. It was really fun to get together and sing, have a sundown worship, eat, visit, and make homemade ice cream. There were quite a few kids and so we enjoyed playing basketball and some big group games. The whole day was lots of fun!
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
