Tri-County fair, and Church camp out

It seems like just yesterday that Tabby, Jody, and I were all getting home from school and were all ready to start another exciting summer, but here it is time to start school again on Monday, and we're all wondering where this summer has gone!  As I was going through my pictures looking for some to send you all in a blog I couldn't believe the lack of pictures from this summer.  I am sorry there hasn't been enough blogs on, but my camera has not been as busy as it should be.  I has sat quite idol way too much.  but I did find a few from July that I hadn't put on the blog so here they are.
These pictures are from our Tri-County fair in Wishek.  It seem to go so much slower than I ever remember it going.  But I guess it was because I wasn't in the fair this year.  Jody and I aren't in 4-H any more so I was something different for us to watch instead of participate.  Janae, and Paul did quite well though.  They both got a few champions and reserve champions.  It was a great day!
Also later on that day us 4 kids went up to beaver Lake State Park for our annual church camp out.  We stayed Friday night with some great friends and had a blast playing in the water before the sun went down.  Then next morning we had church and were very blessed by Angelica Miller's talk of her year as a student missionary in Poland.  It made for a busy, but great weekend!

4th of July

I hope everyone had a great 4th!  I sure did.  I got to see and hang out with lots of family.  We had the chance to see and eat supper Danny and Joyce Wednesday evening and then spent the night at Engelhart's.  We got up to a nice and bright morning on the 4th and were all ready for an exciting parade, but right before it started we got a few shots of rain.  Dew to the dampness the parade was set back about an hour.  But we were still excited when it finally started.  when the kids had their pales of candy and the parade was done we headed over to Englehart's house for lunch in the back yard.  From there every one's afternoons kind of when different directions.  Some of us older cousins went and found a sand volleyball court and started up some games of volleyball!  ( just saying our girl's team beat the boys )  It was lots of fun!  But when we were all hot and sweaty we couldn't help but stop on the way back and run in some sprinklers. :P.  For the evening we headed to Kimber's house for a relaxing evening on the lawn.  We had some snacks and shot off some fireworks, and so with that our 4th of July was complete!

James Drury ( the Virginian ) was in the parade!

What's been going on this summer

This post is a random mix of old and new pictures.  I'm sorry I haven't been very faithful with keeping this up.  We have had a very busy summer with lots of stories and fun memories.  Along with this being a very busy summer my computer hasn't been working for about the last 2 months.  Which has also contributed to the lack of posts.  But these are a few of the pictures I have on my computer to share with you.

I will be trying to put on some more pictures of Prairie Bible Camp, the Ashley's 125th, and our church centennial soon
