Union visit

Here are a few more pictures of our time in NE!  We have had a great time down here with Tabby, now in a few hours Mom, Paul, and Janae will be here :) and Dad is coming in a few days.  We have done lots of things that we never had over the last 3 days.  I will explain the pictures as we go. 

 We met up with Wissmanns for dinner and then red mango.  It was really good to see some of them again!

 Last night we had some friends over for supper to Tabby's house.

 We went out to eat this noon too :)

 This afternoon we went and played racquet ball with Chad and us 3 girls!  We had a great time!  We laughed soooooo hard.

union preview days

Saturday evening was the annual fall festival at DAA and our Lehr pathfinders club had a booth.  We had an angry birds game with the pigs, sling shot and angry birds,  I'll just say that it was a big hit!

Mindy and I had the opportunity to come with the DAA (Dakota Adventist academy) junior class down to union college in Lincoln NE for college preview days.  We are spending the week with Tabby and are having a great time.

 We had a treat of frozen yogurt

 at the college fair they had all kinds of  activities for us to do and this one was to see how high of a tower you could build with someone on top of it. 

 We won the activity with 13 cartons on top of each other.

4-H awards night

October 14th we had our 4-H tri-county fair awards night.  In July is the tri-county fair in Wishek, at the fair you get recognised for what place you took in the livestock show and static exhibits but you don't get your trophy's or plaques till October.  So the awards banquet is what took place last Sunday evening.

combining with Merkels

We've been helping some friends with their harvest for a few days since we are done with ours.  It's been so fun to spend a few days with the Merkels, driving grain cart, and helping with putting up some garden stuff.  I went over for 2 days, and then the next week Jody, and I went over again for 2 days.  Merkels we had a great time over at your place!!!!!

Youth Rally

This last Saturday there was a youth rally in Bismarck!  They asked us to sing for special music and for the song service.  So we sang the song 'It is finished'.  It was lots of fun leading out in the praise songs.  In the afternoon we went out and collected food for the homeless shelter in Bismarck.  Then in the evening Tabby gave a talk about her time in Cameroon.  We had a great day!
