Montana trip

We're home again !!!!
This last week and a half have been tons of fun but crazy busy.
When we got home from Lincoln on Sunday we only had Monday to get regrouped before we headed out to Bozman Montana.  Every year Dad and Paul go out to the Vandyke and Deitz bull sale.  This year we decided though to make it a family trip.  We went out a day earlier to go snowboarding and skiing at Bridger Bowl.  It was a lot of fun!  All of us kids haven't ever gone skiing before.  Tabby, Mom, and Dad have, but for us 4 it was a first. Jody, Janae, and I all wanted to try snowboarding.  We were kind of discouraged be a number of people who said it was so hard and that we wouldn't like it and we would be so sore.  But when you could trade in your snowboard for skis or skis for a snowboard any time in the day we decided that we were going to go for snowboards.  We only got the bunny hill passes though because by the time we all got the hang of it well enough to go on the big slope it was almost time to go.  Mom was our gopher all day getting us what we needed and getting us dinner.  Dad and Paul skied, Paul at the very end did try a snowboard and caught on really fast.  Us girls were so glad we did do the snowboarding.  We enjoyed it a lot!  We all did try skiing too though.  It was nicer that in the afternoon we pretty much had the bunny hill to ourselves.  It made it even better because Brittany and Janey Vandyke came with us and skied too.  They have been skiing most of their life but they stayed with us and skied and helped us on the little bunny hill.  They were a lot of fun and made the day even better!

Janae and Jody made a new Friend!

On the way out we stopped at Genix in Billings.  It was really cool to see all the bulls they have there and to see some of the big names like, Ceder Ridge, Really Windy, Cole Creek, and other ones.  When we were done there we went to Midland. ( a place were they feed bulls )  It was all so high tec. every thing was done through computers and they knew out of 2,000 calves witch one wasn't eating right.  They could see which bull was feeling sick 2 days before they showed signs.  That was cool to see too.

It was nice.  The guy was feeding the bulls while we were there and he told us all about each bull as we walked.

One of the best parts of the trip was just looking out the window.  It was so amazing to see the mountains and the new country.  The mountains were incredible to us,  we don't get to see anything like that very often!

Then on Thursday morning was the Vandyke Deitz bull sale.  It was Mom's first time seeing a sale.  She got stuck at home doing chores the last 10 years we've been buying bulls from them.  We would always get back from Lincoln and do chores while Dad and Paul went out to the sales.  but some times us girls one by one would go with the guys.  It was lots of fun.  They have a nice set up on their ranch.  They have their own ring and everything.

So over all we had an amazing trip!!!!  We got to see old friends and make new ones too.  We made lots of memories and had a good time as a family.  The only bad part was we missed Tabby a lot and wished she could be there with us.

Let all that you do be done in LOVE.  1 Corinthians 16:14
